Disneyland Resort’s 2024 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival runs March 1 – April 22, 2023. During this time you can taste your way through delicious California-inspired cuisine, beverages, and enjoy culinary seminars, entertainment, and more. This is your complete guide to Disneyland’s Food and Wine Festival. With a lot of input from my foodie husband.
Confession time: I am not a foodie.
There I said it. Everyone else always talks about all the foods they want to try when they go to Disneyland and I am over here nodding my head like “uh-huh, yeah.”
Don’t get me wrong, Disneyland has some delicious food, but I am just not someone who focuses on food when I visit the parks (or anywhere). So it might seem weird that one of my favorite times to visit Disneyland is during the California Adventure Food and Wine Festival each spring.
I love it though!
There are so many cool offerings, that foodies and non-foodies a like will love this annual festival. So sit back as I tell you all about Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival and what there is to do, even if you aren’t big on food.
Also, while I am not a foodie, my husband is, so going this time of year makes him extremely happy.
All About Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival at Disneyland
So what exactly is Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival at Disneyland? It is a celebration of cuisine, drinks, and entertainment inspired by California. From the agriculture, to the culture of the state, they cover it all.
The festival is based in California Adventure Park, specifically along the walkway of Paradise Gardens Park. But there are special offerings throughout the entire park for the festival.
Do I need a separate ticket to enjoy Disneyland’s food and wine festival?
Nope!
You will of course need to pay for the food and drinks you wish to consume, but there is no extra event ticket needed for the festival. You can also purchase a Disney Sip and Savor Pass for the event.
There are a few events that you can add on (info on that further below) but for the most part, the entertainment is free, and everyone in the parks is welcome to purchase and try the food and drinks.

Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival takes place each year in the spring. In 2024, the festival takes place from March 1 – April 22.
This means if you are heading to Disneyland for Spring Break, you will be able to enjoy Disneyland’s Food and Wine Festival at California Adventure.
Disneyland’s Food and Wine Festival Basics
For the most part, Disneyland’s Food and Wine Festival in California Adventure Park consists of kiosks or carts throughout Paradise Garden Park where you can purchase different foods and drinks based on a theme. One cart may feature fruit-based foods, and another might feature spicy foods.
The 2024 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Market Place Kiosks Are Expected To Be:
- Nuts About Cheese
- Uncork California
- Golden Dreams
- California Craft Brews
- Peppers Cali-Ente
- LA Style
- Avocado Time
- I <3 Artichokes
- Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo
- Berry Patch
- Garlic Kissed
- D-Lish
This is based on last year’s kiosks, but I will update this one the 2024 kiosks are announced.
TIP: You can order food from any kiosk in one line, then take your receipt to the appropriate cart and pick up the items.
There are sometimes extra food offerings throughout the rest of California Adventure during this time as well.
Along with these kiosks, many of the restaurants in Disney California Adventure also have limited-time items specifically for the festival, such as Paradise Garden Grill.

Disneyland’s Food and Wine Sip and Savor Pass
So, while I am not a foodie, I still do eat. And I am married to a foodie. So one of the best investments to make at Disney’s California Adventure Food and Wine Festival is the Sip and Savor Pass.
The Sip and Savor pass used to only be available for Disneyland Annual Passholders, but now is available to everyone. It is $ 59 for the general public and $54 for Annual Passholders and Disney Visa Card Holders. (This is based off 2023 Pricing. We will update when 2024 Pricing is announced.)
The pass includes 8 coupons to be redeemed for food or non-alcoholic beverages. This can be an amazing value if you be sure that each item you redeem it for is at least 1/8 the price you paid for the pass.
TIP: Do not tear off the coupons until you are at the register paying, or they are voided.
Where you can buy the Sip and Savor Pass for Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival:
- Elias & Co.
- Festival Gifts
- Festival Marketplaces
- Julius Katz & Sons
- Rushin’ River Outfitters
- Seaside Souvenirs
- SIP AND SAVOR CART (Longest Lines Here)
Purchasing a Sip and Savor is a great way to explore the many options at Food and Wine Festival. It is also great if you have teens that you may give a free day to at the park, you can buy them a Sip and Savor and let them use that to eat that day. No cash or card is needed on their part.
Disney’s California Adventure Food and Wine Festival For the Non-Foodie
So if you are like me, and while you think the food is great, it may not get you overly excited, don’t worry, there are still plenty of fun activities and entertainment to be found that is specific to Disneyland’s annual Food and Wine Festival.
Entertainment During Disney California Food and Wine Festival
One of my favorite parts of the Food and Wine Festival at California Adventure is the live entertainment. From bands that play on the stage near the water at Paradise Gardens Park, to shows that let your little ones become the chef, there is something for everyone.
The following is based off previous years’ offerings. We will update this with more information when the 2024 details are released.
FREE Entertainment Options
The following entertainment options are all free during the Food and Wine Festival and open to families.
Jr Chef, Fri – Sun afternoon (check park schedule)
If you are hitting up Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival with Kids, this is the show for you!
Kids ages 3 – 11 get to put on their chef’s hats and enjoy a show and activity themed to Alice’s Wonderland Bakery (the new Disney Junior Show).
This year, kids get to decorate cupcakes to eat at a later time. Don’t worry parents, they come in a container so you can transport them easily.
There is also a visit by a surprise character, which I won’t spoil here.
Culinary Demonstrations, Sat – Sun 5:30 pm
One of my goals for this year is to learn some new dishes and just how to cook better. That is why I am excited at select times Friday – Sunday, you can catch culinary demonstrations by amazing chefs in the Hollywood Land backlot. Learn a few tips and maybe a new dish to try out at home.
Jammin’ Chefs
This was seriously my favorite entertainment in past years and I am hoping it will return.
In a much-needed change, the show has moved to Hollywoodland in 2022, in front of the Hyperion theater. This helps with congestion near the food booths, AND gives extra room for more characters to join in the fun. We had Chip, Dale, Daisy and Pluto in our show, but I saw a friend post that she saw Clarabelle in the one she watched.
In 2023, the show was back at the original location in Paradise Garden Park.
Other Live Entertainment
Be sure to check the schedule for the stage near the water at Paradise Garden Park, across from Pixar Pier, for more live entertainment.
Additional Charge Entertainment
The following event options are available for an additional charge. This list is based on 2023 and will be updated when 2024 offerings are released.
